Becoming a psychotherapist has been my goal, at least consciously, since I was in high school. I was always fascinated with human mind, emotions and their interconnection with human body. Witnessing clients' courage and resilience when facing pain, and their ability to transcend their circumstances towards self-actualization has been a great honor and privilege. I am passionate about every single one of us humans becoming truly ourselves, connected, grounded and integrated. It tends to be a long journey but I believe it is worth it, and I am here for others who are ready to begin.

Because of that passion, I began exploring how to expand the impact of healing through other modalities. My dream and goal is to build awareness of mental health and to normalize it. It also is to create more access to healing in and outside of therapy. I'd like to see matters of mind, body, heart and soul become a mainstream foundation of being simply incorporated into the daily life. That is how the idea of my book, "Finding My Way Home: A Guided Activity Journal For Women Longing To Reconnect With Their True Self," was born. It is a compilation of simple practices and a guide to re-building a solid connection with SELF to last through adversity and ups and downs of life. That is also why I decided to offer experiential group and individual wellness intensives as an extension of therapy for those who are interested in acquiring more tools to move further along in their becoming SELF/self-actualization process.

My career as a counselor began officially in 2010  as a provider in a non-profit organization in rural Montana. Since then, I had an opportunity to offer services to children, adolescents and adults in individual, couples, family and group modalities. Throughout my career, I had a chance to work in a few non-profit organizations, an elementary school and  traditional outpatient private practice settings.

Gaining experience with a variety of presenting problems, diverse populations, ages and modalities helped me realize I am particularly passionate about working with trauma survivors,  people experiencing stress-eliciting transitions, and self-actualization. I also have an extensive experience working with all forms  of anxiety, mood and self-esteem concerns. My practice is strengthened by specialized training such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, somatic approaches (SP and SE) and other trauma-focused trainings.

An essential part of my experience as a mental health practitioner is that I  was born and raised in Poland. Having the opportunity to experience culture other than my own and a wonderful exposure to diversity in the USA taught me to become more sensitive and attuned culturally. It also exposed me to all the challenges and empowerment that comes from different forms of transitions we face in our lives.
